About the Cambridge Half Marathon
The Cambridge Half Marathon ranks as one of the top 10 largest and most popular half marathons in the UK. It is nationally recognised as a flat, fast, and PB-friendly course, making it a top pick for both first-timers and club runners. So, if you’re wanting to take on a new challenge of running 13.1miles or are a seasoned runner, running for Kickstart Coffee guarantees you the opportunity to run an iconic course. You will not only be raising money for an important project, but you will also get the benefits of experiencing the cultural scenery of History Cambridge.
About the project Dignity begins with the basics - and for hundreds of children at our partner schools in Uganda, a safe, private toilet isn't one of them.
We're taking on the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 14 March 2027 to help build a new girls' toilet block at May Christian Secondary School - part of our Dignity Project providing safe sanitation & dignity for nearly 500 children. The projected cost for the toilet block is £15,000.
We're looking for 30 runners to fundraise £350 each. Register your interest below - no commitment yet, this just helps us secure the right number of race places.
What you'll get - A Kickstart Coffee running t-shirt, to wear during training and on race day. - A Kickstart tote bag, made by our partner women's group in Uganda - Fundraising support, guidance and templates - Your own fundraising page, set up for you
Good to know: you must be at least 17 years old on race day (14 March 2027) to take part.
