Software Crafters Cambridge is a vibrant community with 1160 members that meets on the second Tuesday evening of the month at The Bradfield Centre on the science park. Run by a small group of local software engineering enthusiasts, our community is aimed at anyone interested in practising their skills in building and architecting quality software aligned to the Software Craftsmanship mindset.

We are a friendly and diverse group of software engineers, developers, software architects, team leads, managers and aligned roles from startups to enterprise and beginners to advanced (the focus of our meetup is on practice, collaboration and learning, not perfection).

We run a variety of activities including hands-on coding exercises, architecture workshops, talks, roundtable discussions, unconferences, panels and networking events. Recent events have covered topics such as Test-Driven Development, software design, AI, careers, refactoring and many more. With the impact of AI being felt across the sector and disrupting the status quo, its a great time to come and gain new skills for your next project, role or business.

Our meetups are sponsored by Codurance and our venue host is The Bradfield Centre - its an amazing space and a real hub for the Cambridge tech community; we feel very lucky to have this place as our home and love working with their friendly team. If you are interested in attending our future meetups as an attendee, speaker or co-organiser get in touch!
