We are big believers that creativity and collaboration are sparked by getting a fresh perspective. Yes, you have a great desk or office to work from, but we encourage you to roam the building and take advantage of our abundant communal spaces where you can hold informal meetings, catch up with friends, or bring your laptop and get stuff done over a cup of coffee.
In addition to the Lakeside Cafe on the ground floor, our members enjoy access to fully featured kitchens on the first and second floors. Get fresh bean to cup coffee provided by Kickstart Coffee, premium teas, and range of dairy and non dairy milks all included within your membership. Plus access to microwaves, fridges, crockery, and storage if you want to bring in your own supplies.
Perfect for Zoom meetings or private phone calls, we have a range of phone booths for member use on the first and second floors.
The benefits of access to fresh air, green space, and nature have never been greater. Our lakeside setting is perfect for screen breaks, eating lunch, or even working - the pavilion is fully covered by our Wi-Fi. Enjoy walks or run in the Science Park's 152-acres, which include a central protected zone of lakes and natural habitat full of wildlife.
This is a social community! Every Thursday one of our team hosts a weekly member social with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks provided - the perfect informal way to meet other members. In addition, once a month we organise a free member soiree generally with a theme or activity.
With over 600 members of The Bradfield, there are a lot of people to meet, and there's a lot of stuff going on. Our Slack provides the perfect way to keep in touch with people and 'things'. Channels to check out our events, meet our partners that can help grow your company, report problems, post jobs, and hangout.
Mental well being has never been so important, and we believe our canine members contribute a huge amount of positivity to our community. You are welcome to bring in well-behaved dogs, just prepare them for the fuss they'll receive!
Our energy supply is from 100% renewable sources, and we also generate our own electricity from the solar panels on the roof.
Enjoy the convenience of a guaranteed parking spot with monthly space rental or pay on the day parking. Free, first come first served, 2 hour visitor spots are also available for your guests.
There are 288 covered bicycle racks at The Bradfield Centre, and adjacent to the building is the Science Park Cycle Hub where you can get your bike serviced and repaired.
For cyclists and runners, we have 30 showers with changing facilities including hair dryers. You can leave your kit onsite Monday to Friday.
