Celebrating The Red Hen Project
As we approach the end of 2024, we look back to celebrate a year of activity and impact with The Red Hen project.
Using The Bradfield Centre as the team's admin base has enabled cost savings that were reinvested into frontline services, allowing the charity to support more families. The Red Hen team have fully integrated into The Bradfield Community, participating in member social events, enabling The Red Hen Project team to bond and recharge, enhancing their effectiveness in supporting families.
The Bradfield Centre team have facilitated connections to local businesses helping to secure funding, raise awareness, and strengthening the community's network of support for vulnerable families.
Many events throughout the year have generated thousands of pounds for the charity, including Cambridge Future Tech Evening with Barclays' match funding, Christmas Jumper Day, Bring Your Dog to Work Day, Bake Sales, Cambridge Standing Tall Sculpture Trail, and the Cambridge Half Marathon.
The funds directly support families in need, fostering innovation and collaboration within the community, and engage local children and families in creative, community-focused activities while raising awareness for the charity.
